William D. Campbell has been with the Department since February 1996 and provides a wealth of knowledge and creativity to the department. His modest nature and self-described good looks are exceeded only by his dedication and commitment to public service. Primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of the office, he also has been known to change a water bottle or two, in the interest of departmental hydration.
Recognized throughout the downtown Government Center as our interdepartmental liaison extraordinaire, his relationships with staffs in other departments have been a boon ever since his first year on staff. He is expert at copier de-jamming and furniture assembly. Other responsibilities that are entrusted to his remarkably versatile hands include: implementing accounts payable, managing office supply inventory, coordinating IT services and overseeing office archives.
