Arts and Business Council, Inc. (ABC)

ABC provides vital services to the community in partnership with the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the private sector. Cultural groups can receive assistance in areas ranging from fund raising, board development, marketing, bookkeeping, legal issues and incorporation/tax exempt status applications. Under ABC's auspices, more than 600 business professionals have donated time and services to the cultural community valued at over $5,000,000, assisting more than 400 arts groups and hundreds of individual artists.

Arts for Learning, the Miami affiliate of Young Audiences, Inc. (A4L) is an arts-in-education nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing teaching and learning through the arts and community cultural resources. A4L is a resource and partner to any school or community learning center committed to using the arts to improve teaching and learning in Miami-Dade County

A4L is a three-way partnership among Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, Miami-Dade County Public Schools and Young Audiences, Inc that brings artists and teachers together to help children learn and excel by offering live arts programs and arts integration services to K-12 schools.

As one of Miami's leading sources of arts-in-education services, A4L provides quality arts-based programs that connect the arts to other core-curriculum subjects to support academic achievement and child development. All A4L programs teach life and communication skills, support literacy and problem solving skills, foster self-discovery, and build self esteem.

Arts for Learning provides comprehensive services that include teacher professional development, multimedia classroom resources, and community arts instruction and programming. These services are delivered to over 13,000 students in more than 100 schools, early learning centers, after-school programs and summer camps throughout Miami-Dade County. Diaspora Arts Coalition, Inc.

The Diaspora Arts Coalition is a grassroots organization that serves as an arts support network in the African American community. Comprised of more than 50 cultural organizations and artists of color, the coming year's work plan for Diaspora Arts Coalition includes developing partnerships for increasing the level of involvement in joint marketing and advertising initiatives for African-American artists and organizations and helping to promote the improved network of facilities designed to address the needs of multicultural organizations and their audiences (e.g., the Lyric Theater, the Auditorium at Florida Memorial College, the Caleb Auditorium, the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center, etc.).
Florida Dance Association, Inc.

The Florida Dance Association provides services to the Florida dance community including information and referral service, technical assistance, public relations and advocacy. The association publishes the Florida Dance Directory and "On the Move", a bimonthly newsletter, and produces the annual Florida Dance Festival.
Greater Miami Festivals and Events Association, Inc. (GMFEA)

Established in 1985, the Greater Miami Festivals & Events Association (GMFEA) is comprised of South Florida's major annual festivals with the central purpose of promoting the year-round schedule of special events to residents and visitors. The Association's members' efforts result in the production of excellent public celebrations that reflect, express and champion the broad cultural diversity of the area. Currently, the Association's membership totals more than 50 festivals and special events groups, public agencies and institutions, and area businesses, with an aggregate annual attendance to their events in excess of 3.5 million participants. These members represent and are involved in producing a wide-ranging spectrum of community events ranging from major arts, film, literary, culinary and street festivals to parades, fairs, youth sporting competitions, and historic, environmental, national and ethnic awareness celebrations.
Haitian Artists Network (HAN) / Sosyete Koukouy, Inc.

HAN provides leadership, fiscal management and other activities which identify, support, empower, assist and provide cultural opportunities for South Florida's rapidly growing community of Haitian artists. HAN's activities include: publication of the quarterly newsletter, Vwa ARTISTES Ayieol; presentation of bimonthly workshops on management and artistic issues; presentation of a monthly program, "Spotlight on the Haitian Arts Community;" provision of subsidized rehearsal/small performance and exhibition space; coordination of the Collaborations Resource Network, which identifies performance and exhibition opportunities; and presentation of the quarterly, "Haitian Artists Network Social
Performing Arts Network, Inc. (PAN)

Performing Arts Network (PAN) is a non-profit coalition with a membership of more than 40 artists and arts organizations, which facilitates, develops and promotes the performing arts, and is committed to increasing access, involvement and relationships between performing artists and the community. PAN provides a broad range of services to its members and the community at large, such as: providing space for resident and visiting artists to hold classes, workshops, rehearsals, lectures, demonstrations and performances; more than 50 regularly scheduled classes each week, with hours of operation seven days a week, in all styles of dance, music and theater for children, adults and seniors, beginners to professionals; programs for individuals with special needs; and a performing arts summer camp for children.

Southern Arts Federation

Service agency whose goal is to enhance the professional skills of southern arts organizations and artists in performing arts, visual and media arts, folk arts, jazz program and information management while broadening the appreciation and support of the arts in the south among policy makers and audiences. Programs include the NEA/SAF Regional Touring Support, American Traditions Professional Development,Southern Vision-Traveline Exhibit and a host of others.
Sunshine Jazz Organization, Inc.

Sunshine Jazz is a support service organization whose mission is to foster and enhance jazz talent by sponsoring workshops, concerts and lectures for aspiring and established jazz musicians, as well as to maintain the archives of audio and video related to jazz music. Sunshine Jazz also provides a jazz musicians' referral service, produces concert tours, commissions jazz recordings, publishes the monthly newsletter, The Sunshine Jazz Messenger, and is the established Florida link for jazz societies internationally.
Theater League of South Florida, Inc.

The Theater League of South Florida is a regional professional service organization serving theater organizations, artists and audience members in Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, Broward and Monroe Counties. The League's services and programs include: the publication of an annual talent directory of local professionals; a quarterly newsletter; a discounted, day-of-show ticket sales outlet for South Florida theaters via an Internet link to the WLRN-TV website; the management of three professional alliances now under a single umbrella entitled "Creative Alliance" which includes roundtable discussions and an ongoing series of play writing competitions and the first annual regional unified auditions for equity and non-equity actors.
