Presented by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, Miami-Dade Public Library System and Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Clinical Art Therapy Department

Join us for a celebration of Peter H. Reynolds’ The Dot; “a storybook for all ages” with themes of bravery, creativity, and self-expression which teaches that all works of art begin with a simple dot. Participants will receive a complimentary copy of the book, while supplies last. Following a reading of The Dot, participants can “make their own marks” in both individual and community art projects led by professional teaching artists and art therapists. This event is free and open to the public.
