Culture Shock Miami provides discounted tickets students ages 13 - 22. The program is one of the Department's education initiatives and was created to help build the cultural audiences of the future.

The official County logo must be graphically depicted ONLY as follows:

In its three colors (the preferred presentation); in one color, BLACK; or in one color, WHITE, e.g., reversed out of a background color.

The logo must not be altered in any way.

The minimum display size is 3/8'' tall.

No other colors, shades of the County color palette or screens of colors may be used in the official County logo.

All grantees must include the following credit line in all promotional and marketing materials related to grants from the Department, including web sites, news and press releases, public service announcements, broadcast media, event programs, and publications: “With the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners.” The grantee must also use the attached logo in marketing and publicity materials whenever possible.

The Miami-Dade County Cultural Affairs Council serves as Board to the Department of Cultural Affairs and is comprised of fifteen volunteer members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners.

Volunteer to Serve as a Grants Panelist. Here is a way that you can help the Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council by serving as volunteer grants panelists to review applications for cultural grants funding from Miami-Dade County. If you are an artist, arts-related professional, educator, community member, business leader or someone with current or prior active involvement in the arts, such as board members of cultural organizations, fill out this form to be considered as a volunteer grants panelist.
