The County awarded the contract for construction of the center to the Tower Group, Inc. On December 29, 2005 the County issued the notice to proceed which effectively kicked off the construction of the center. As of the end of March 2008 the construction of the center is approximately 70% complete. The building’s envelope is being installed and the interior finish work can begin once the envelope is completed. It is projected that the center will be scheduled to open in early 2009.
