The County awarded the contract for construction of the center to the Tower Group, Inc. On December 29, 2005 the County issued the notice to proceed which effectively kicked off the construction of the center.
As of the end of December 2008 the construction of the center is approximately 81% complete. The building’s envelope is mainly completed and the interior finish work has begun. It is projected that the center will be scheduled to open in the fall of 2010.
