About ProjectArt
ProjectArt is building the largest free arts school for youth in the US, without owning a single
building. We offer free, after-school visual arts classes to youth in the nation's public libraries taught
by emerging contemporary artists. Currently, our programs are offered in NYC, Detroit and Miami,
with programs launching in LA, Chicago and Pittsburgh in 2017. Our innovative teaching artist-inresidence
model grants studio spaces in public libraries to contemporary artists, who, in return,
teach free art classes to youth in low-income communities.
