The Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs has developed a series of general operating support and project-based grant programs that serves as a portfolio of public sector investments to promote the growth of Miami-Dade County's cultural community. Each program is designed to address specific kinds of cultural projects and organizations. An overview of these grants programs is in the section below.
Potential applicants to the Department of Cultural Affairs must carefully review the grant program guidelines for the program they intend to apply. The guidelines set forth the goals, eligibility requirements and instructions for completion of the application form. As of the spring 2018-2019 cycle, applicants to the Department of Cultural Affairs' grant programs will submit applications and supporting documentation via SurveyMonkey Apply (formerly FluidReview). A link to the platform will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
Applicants to the Department of Cultural Affairs' Community Grants (CG) Program - Fourth Quarter and Tourist Development Council (TDC) Grant Program - Fourth Quarter, will submit grant applications and required supporting documents via Culture Grants Online (CGO), the Department's online grant system. First-time applicants to the Department of Cultural Affairs' CG Program and TDC Program are required to attend the grants program-specific workshop that pertains to them to learn how to create user accounts and navigate the system.* Refer to the grant program guidelines and information page for more information regarding CGO.
