Position Overview: Miami City Ballet School is seeking a friendly, outgoing and self-directed individual to fulfill a part-time position beginning immediately.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional writing, communication and organizational skills.
- 2 years of administrative, customer service and sales experience.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of Mindbody software preferred.
- Strong interest and/or background in ballet or other artistic disciplines.
- Is a self-starter and detail-oriented.
General Responsibilities:
- Serve as the front-line point of contact for the Miami City Ballet School office.
- Maintain a professional, organized, and inviting work area.
- Assist school parents and cultivate strong relationships with them.
- Introduce school programs to prospective students and their parents:
- Over the phone
- By email responses
- Tour of the facility
- Providing brochures and appropriate registration packets
- Answer and direct incoming calls.
- Order and stock supplies for school office.
- Provide support for the Administrative staff as needed.
- Handle all incoming and outgoing mail for the school.
- Facilitate check-in for Drop-In Classes and Workshops.
- Sell Drop-In Classes and Workshops.
- Promote ticket offers and discounts.
- Cash and Credit Reconciliation.
- Database entry and account management.
- Administer and track promotions and sales.
Proposed example of possible work hours:
- Monday: 3:30-8pm
- Tuesday: 3:30-8pm
- Wednesday: 3:30-8pm
- Thursday: 3:30-8pm
- Saturday: 8:30-1:00pm
