Geraldine Toussaint serves as the Chief of Administration for the Department of Cultural Affairs. She manages and coordinates key administration policies, office operations, and human resource activities staff training, professional development, and performance management for the Department. Geraldine also serves as a liaison with the County Mayor’s Office, the Board of County Commissioners, and other government bodies for agenda coordination and special projects. 

Geraldine joined the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs in 2022 as a Cultural Projects Administrator, bringing with her over a decade of experience in municipal government. Prior to joining Miami-Dade County, she worked for the City of Miami Beach and the City of North Miami, where she assisted with cultural tourism and event planning initiatives, as well as managed federal and local grants for arts projects and community-based programs.

Geraldine holds a Bachelor of Public Policy and Service from Florida International University, Steven J. Green School of International & Public Affairs.
