2025 SAS-C Grantees: INTRODUCTION TO INCLUSION

Instructions for Summer 2025

To meet the SAS-C grantee inclusion training requirement, please ensure that at least one (1) camp coordinator or counselor completes this 3-part training by July 13, 2025, at 11:59 PM. ​Ideally, this should be someone who has not previously completed the SAS-C Inclusion Workshop.

 

PART 1: The Children’s Trust – Trust Academy Required Online Courses

1. Create an account on The Children’s Trust Academy platform:

• Visit https://collabornation.net/register/thechildrenstrust 

• Select the third option: “You are independent of any agency and are attending training offered by The Children’s Trust: General Public”

• Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Create Account

• Complete the form with your name, email, and password

• Check the “I’m not a robot” box, and agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy

• Provide any additional required information

2. Locate the required courses:

Once logged in, use the search bar to find Advocacy Network on Disabilities courses.

The following three courses are required:

• Introduction to Successful Inclusion of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder – Part 1
• Inclusion Reimagined
• Introduction to Effective Behavior Management

You may complete each lesson at your own pace.

3. Submit proof of completion:

• Upon finishing each course, you will receive a PDF certificate from The Children’s Trust

• Upload all three certificates to your SAS-C Final Report (under Uploads: Support Documents)

 

PART 2: Additional Required Training Content

The following modules must also be completed in full.

5 EVALUATION - POST ASSESSMENT

      Access Academy Quiz - Introduction to Inclusion

Submitting the three (3) certificates from The Children's Trust units, completing the additional training content, and completing the pre- and post-assessment will fulfill your SAS-C grantee inclusion training requirement.
