TOP ARTS FACT OF THE MONTH

THE ARTS GENERATE ALMOST $1.1 BILLION IN LOCAL ECONOMIC IMPACT 

Based on Arts & Economic Prosperity IV, a study completed by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with Americans for the Arts, the economic impact of Miami-Dade County’s non-profit arts and cultural industry is $1,076,183,558 every year. This represents a 17% increase over findings from the last study completed in 2006. A new study will be launched in 2016.
