Entry Rate: $2,117.29 - Maximum Rate: $3,532.63 Biweekly

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in arts administration, art history, public administration, non-profit art management, or equivalent.
Five (5) years of experience writing, responding to and evaluating grant proposals and applications, contracts, and final report auditing or equivalent experience.
Position requires computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, Word Press, Constant Contact, Go Smart, etc.
Knowledge of Contract Compliance and non-profit reporting procedures.
Experience with or knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, procedures and policies governing the funding and administration of federal, state and local grant programs.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Recruitment Notes
The ideal candidate will be responsible for administrative and operational continuity of reviewing, evaluating and responding to grant applications, meeting with grant applicants, monitoring grant contracts for compliance, creating summary reports, and researching and implementing new grant programs and initiatives. In addition, the role will assist in the planning, execution and evaluation of Cultural Affairs programs as needed and participate and manage the administration and conformity with established administrative and departmental policies and attainment of desired objectives, including but not limited to meetings, conferences and review of reports of operations.  Additionally, this position provides integral support for administering the daily operations for the Cultural Affairs Program.  This work is of a highly confidential and sensitive nature and requires a high degree of professionalism, tact, attention to detail and organization.
