Entry Rate: $55,00.00 - Maximum Rate: $65,000.00 Yearly
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. At least 3 years of professional experience (such as sales, marketing, communications, nonprofit, or related work). Strong writing and editing skills, especially for email and digital communication. High attention to detail, organization, and follow through. Comfortable working with digital tools (e.g. Google Workspace, Asana, Canva). Willingness to learn fundraising best practices and CRM/database use. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team. Ability to occasionally work evenings or weekends for events. Passion for young people, arts, and community-centered work.
Recruitment Notes
The Development Manager supports both fundraising and communications, with a focus on building strong systems, sharing meaningful stories, and keeping our community informed and engaged. This role works closely with and is guided by the Executive Artistic Director.
This role is a great fit for someone with a few years of professional experience (such as sales, marketing, communications, or nonprofit work) who is excited to learn the world of development. You do not need to have formal fundraising experience yet, but you should be organized, curious, relationship oriented, and comfortable with writing and digital tools.
