Seeks a Full-Time, In-Office Grants Administrator
Job Description: Duties of the Grants Administrator include all aspects of grants administration (grant writing, reporting, closeout, etc.) for 10-12 established/on-going company grant programs at State, County and local levels, and private foundations, in addition to identifying, researching and applying for new grant, foundation and corporate sponsorship opportunities. Once fully established, this position will administer up to 25 grant/foundation/corporate sponsorship programs. This position works in close coordination with the Executive Artistic Director/CEO in the application, administration and reporting on all company grants and sponsorships. This is a 40-hour per week, full-time, in-office position. This is a position with strong salary growth potential based on performance.
The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience in related fields (grants, administration, arts and culture, fund-raising, not-for-profit, etc.), have a BA/BS degree (preferred but not required), possess strong written and verbal skills, be fully proficient with computers/technology and with the Microsoft suite of programs (Word, Excel, etc.), and have a passion for the arts and culture. Applicants with work samples of written proposals, or other work demonstrating their writing abilities should include those samples at the time of application.
Salary Range: $45,000 - $50,000 salaried with employer supported medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave.
