The Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs launched a two-part tool kit in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic: the COVID-19 Financial Impact Tracker (CO-FIT) and the COVID-19 Survey of Impact on Miami-Dade County's Cultural Community (CO-SIC). The survey collects data on revenue losses, jobs affected and increased expenses attributable to COVID-19 on a monthly basis. The survey also includes questions regarding COVID-19 recovery support applied for or received.

COVID-19 Financial Impact Tracker (CO-FIT)
The CO-FIT is an easy-to-use, self-calculating financial tool to help nonprofit cultural organizations account for revenue losses, jobs affected and additional expenses attributable to COVID-19. Data collected through this customizable, monthly financial log can be used to fill out the CO-SIC survey each month. TIP: You can download a new copy of the CO-FIT Tracker for each month.

Access the Financial Impact Tracker and instructions here.

COVID-19 Survey of Impact on Miami-Dade County's Cultural Community (CO-SIC)
Help us measure the collective financial impact of COVID-19 on Miami-Dade County based nonprofit cultural organizations by completing this brief survey each month. TIP: Use the information on the SUMMARY tab of your organization’s CO-FIT.

Access the August Survey and instructions here.

AUGUST SURVEY DEADLINE: Wednesday, September 23, 2020 (only include data from August 1-31, 2020)

Information gathered through the Survey will measure the collective financial impact of COVID-19 on Miami-Dade County based nonprofit cultural organizations and substantiate the urgent need for recovery resources. A monthly report documenting the cumulative data regarding the cultural impact of COVID-19 on Miami-Dade based nonprofit cultural institutions and arts organizations is shared with other funders, partners and the field.

SURVEY RESULTS TO DATE:

The results of the March - July 2020 surveys document a total financial impact of $99.5 million with 15,965 arts and cultural jobs affected.
