Youth Arts in the Parks Spring Registration Now Open

Youth Arts in the Parks is presented by Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Disability Services and Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with Arts for Learning and Project AWWOL - A World WithOut Labels.  Youth Arts in the Parks is an inclusive, socially-oriented arts program for children and youth with and without disabilities. No prior art or creative expression experience is required.  This fun and educational program teaches kids of all abilities visual arts or creative expression in a social setting, led by professional artists/art teachers, certified instructors and disability experts.

Space is Limited! Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Submitting a registration form does not guarantee a spot in the program.  Priority consideration will be given to students from the Youth Arts in the Parks waiting list. Only forms that are fully completed will be accepted.

Who:

Children and youth with and without disabilities, ages 6 - 17. Youth with disabilities welcome up to 22.
What: Have fun, make friends, make art and get creative!

  • CREATIVE EXPRESSION: Miller Drive Park, 5510 SW 94th Court, Miami

Registration Deadline: All registration forms must be received by Monday, January 16, 2015 for priority consideration.
