Andrea joined the Department of Cultural Affairs in 2024 and serves as the senior executive secretary to the director. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology, with double minors in horticulture and Middle Eastern studies, from Brigham Young University–Idaho. Andrea later completed a master’s degree in applied behavior analysis at the University of Miami. She practiced as a behavior analyst for two years, providing treatment to individuals on the autism spectrum, before transitioning to alternate professional opportunities.
Although Andrea’s career has been anchored in psychology, a latent inclination toward policy and the arts has consistently influenced her path. It was only during her professional transition that she fully embraced civil service. This newfound dedication has become the driving force behind her career—where policy, purpose, and art converge.voices are represented and celebrated in arts programming.
