The Miami-Dade County Cultural Affairs Council serves as Board to the Department of Cultural Affairs and is comprised of fifteen volunteer members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners.
The Tourist Development Council (TDC) is a nine-member volunteer board whose members are appointed by the County Commissioners and have backgrounds in the tourism industry.
