Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for the following project will be received in the Office of the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners, Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 N.W. 1st Street, 17th Floor, Suite 17-202, Miami, FL up to 2:00 p.m., EST, on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. All bids received prior to the stipulated time will then be transferred to the 18th Floor, Room 18-01 where envelopes will be publicly opened and prices read aloud shortly after 2:00 PM, local time, at the Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 N.W. 1st Street, 18th Floor, Miami, FL.

LOCATION: Tropical Park (7900 SW 40th Street, Miami, FL 33155)
The Project consists of the New Construction of an approximately 16,000 square foot Cultural Arts Center Facility located at the front of Tropical Park in the Westchester neighborhood of Unincorporated Miami-Dade County, Florida.
The series of separate elements, connected by a common covered loggia, consists of: a Main Theatre building with a theatre and supporting spaces which include a Lobby area that will serve as an art gallery for rotating exhibitions, and a one-story Dance Rehearsal Studio.
Site work includes an exterior plaza for events, landscape and hardscape improvements, construction of parking and service areas, and utility infrastructure. In addition, the project’s basic scope includes structural and electrical/data elements for an outdoor performance equipment area.
A one-story Community Education Classroom Wing with administrative office spaces is an add alternate.
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and site visit to discuss the general requirements of this project will be held at Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40th Street, Miami FL 33155, at the Mary Abreu Community Center, commencing at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018.
