About
The MiamiDade Public Library System's Art Services and Exhibitions Division maintains a permanent collection of over 7,000 works of art. This diverse collection includes works on paper, photographs, paintings, artists' books, multiples, and small sculptures, with a focus on African American, Latino, and Miami artists.
Liliana Hernandez-Constenla
Liliana Hernandez-Constenla has over 20 years of experience managing marketing and engagement programs in public and private sectors. She serves as the Marketing and Public Affairs Officer for the Department and assists the Director with the management of the Department’s public profile. She oversees Departmental branding and is the point person for media relations and all external communications, including newsletters, websites and social media.
Katherine Revell
Katherine Revell has more than thirty years of experience as an arts administrator and grants writer. She joined the team in May 2018 as the administrator for the Summer Arts and Science Camps for Kids grant program. Currently, she manages the Golden Ticket Arts Guide Program, serving active older adults; and the Animation Arts sessions for Young Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
Golden Tours Program
Known to promote mental health and well-being, the arts have a positive impact on the lives of older adults by helping them stay mentally, emotionally, and physically healthy. Artistic activities such as music, dance and visual arts reduce stress and anxiety and promote relaxation.
